Jeremy Pawelek  was born in 1914 in Moosejaw, Saskaetchewan, Canada.  A prolific corn-farmer by the age of nine, Mister Pawelek chose instead to chronicle the lives of his friends and their tussles with bears and the RCMP.  Mister Pawelek lives today with his wife in Nova Scotia, painting with watercolours and chatting with the local tugboat captain in senile conversations.
